- 🇮🇳 Indian Market: Indices stayed under pressure this week as expensive crude 🛢️ raised inflation and import-cost concerns, while high global rates weighed on sentiment. Banks & financials 🏦 recovered as new UPI charges improved monetisation prospects, while insurance 🛡️ gained on optimism around growth and reporting changes. IT weakened amid global rate concerns. IPO activity also diverted liquidity from secondary markets.


- 📊 FII & DII activity: In the cash market, FIIs sold equities worth ₹7,619 Cr, while DIIs bought ₹11,231 Cr.


- 🌍 Global Market: Markets swung sharply this week as Middle East tensions pushed oil higher and revived inflation fears, lifting bond yields. The Fed then raised rates, while the BOJ also tightened policy 🇺🇸🇯🇵, keeping investors cautious. As oil prices eased, global stocks recovered, with AI and chip stocks leading the rebound, while gold 🥇 strengthened as geopolitical uncertainty kept demand for safe-haven assets elevated.
