The pandemic has changed the world, and now the war between Russia and Ukraine is changing the lives of each and every one. The new normal is not settled yet but new changes making us think and act on a priority basis. Inflation is making headlines with the hawkish stand of the respective regulator as it is uncontrolled.  The pandemic made us make self-dependent in most items and commodities. The war is making a major part of the globe starve due to hunger as wheat is not available in the market. The rising prices of essential commodities making life difficult. The major economies in the world is dependent on single source for majority of goods and services, the pandemic shown that it is very dangerous and the war magnified it very with full clearity.  The last week was amazing, the new parliament building is nearly complete with the national emblem inaugurated with our rituals by prime minister Shri Narender Modi. It is just the beginning of getting rid of the colonial past for all of us. This year, we are in the 75th of independence. The geopolitics, which is causing different pains to us, all our calculations have changed. The recalculation is still a work in progress.  There is the silver lining that we are getting discounted crude from Russia along with rough diamond which is very critical for our economy. Also, economic data released that the overall economy is in expansion mode with exports getting upward. And also, the presently first quarter growth is around 10% with an annual growth projection is around 7%.  The numbers are reflective of the upbeat mood in the economy, with a good monsoon the optimism is there. The requirement of the rural market is changing fast with products and services with at-par features comparable to urban areas. The scheduled banks are focusing on this segment now and penetrating the market very fast. The relationship with the customer is getting strong. Traditionally, PAC with deep roots in the rural market with a long time relationship and insight into customer behavior. The primary society caters to different types of loans along with offering assistance in the government schemes that have a major impact on its customers. Once this society will come on a single platform the duplication of benefits and beneficiaries will be established with total transparency. The duplicacy will be avoided along with fraud getting avoided. The tie w

Strangely, no. of deaths of farmers due to the debt trap is still high, but the root cause for the same is not addressed and things are going on as usual. The will for doing any meaningful reforms is opposed by wasted interest. The root cause of farmers' distress is systematic not just on the time issue. Since independence, we have systematically created situations that killed entrepreneurial spirit in farmers instead they became dependent on the government for each and everything. We adopted a socialist model for our development in which every buck stops at the doorstep of the government. The cooperative system was developed for the upliftment of ruler folks with penetration and sharing of risk with each other. Initially, it worked as per charter but after some time it is occupied by wasted interest and politics which suited to ruling elite and their party. The interest of the board and their masters is most important than ordinary farmers. Most of the cooperative banks and socie

It is true that our armed forces need reforms from arms and misc procurement to human resources management. The arms procurement in any of the three forces is tedious with interference from wasted interest is well known. We have not allowed lobbying as a consultancy for an arms manufacturer. The reforms started with arms manufacturing and reorganization of DRDO with seven distinct units or lines of business. The reform in DRDO is making our manufacturing for forces as per demand and time-bound manner. The hurdles in the private sector investment for defense sectors have been addressed and as per demand from the industry it is looked upon and course corrections are done in the past with the hope the same will be done in the future. Getting lobbying for a particular arms manufacturer, either domestic or foreign, should be recognized and legal. Going forward we will use it for our own export market in future. Keeping demands from forces pending is not going to benefit us and we will suff
