 The last week was amazing, the new parliament building is nearly complete with the national emblem inaugurated with our rituals by prime minister Shri Narender Modi.

It is just the beginning of getting rid of the colonial past for all of us. This year, we are in the 75th of independence.

The geopolitics, which is causing different pains to us, all our calculations have changed. The recalculation is still a work in progress.

 There is the silver lining that we are getting discounted crude from Russia along with rough diamond which is very critical for our economy.

Also, economic data released that the overall economy is in expansion mode with exports getting upward.

And also, the presently first quarter growth is around 10% with an annual growth projection is around 7%.  The numbers are reflective of the upbeat mood in the economy, with a good monsoon the optimism is there.

This upbeat mood is reflected in the increased hiring of manpower in both white-collar and blue-collar jobs. Freshers are getting opportunities in the manufacturing and services sector.

The incoming festival season is expected to be a bumper one in both rural and urban markets. Early signs of recovery are visible in the rural market with demand pickup in both goods and services.

The income generation for the farmers is increasing with the penetration of the internet and reforms done in past.

If this trend continues for a few years we will see the migration from the rural area to the urban areas, the rural economy will change with more investment in the Agri sector.

The resilience of the market and currency is visible with our currency sliding against the US dollar but strengthening against other major currencies like the yen, euro, and pounds.

The export will increase as our cost is less than that of another country with the added advantage of uncertainty in China.

We are a reliable partner in trade with decades of experience. Just we have to move in the right direction with patience

 One small piece of news was printed on daily that the gender ratio of our country has changed from more male to more female per thousand. Means 1000:1020, i.e. for every one thousand males there is one thousand and twenty female. It is a very important development in independent India. The latest census which is underway showed the benefit of the campaign which was run by the government and the society together to save the girl child. But the malnutrition and other health issues are still a major cause of concern. Recently we were part of one discussion, namely the financial literacy amongst the female in our country. Generally, it is seen that women are not part of decisions or rather discussions of financial matters. The average financial literacy of women is less than that of means they do not take part in the discussion or they are not interested in the altogether.
