 Our PM often used a word EASE OF LIVING, along with EASE OF DOING BUSINESS. Last ten year we are seeing the marked difference, in both we are feeling the difference.

We used to get work done either by paying graft or by giving long time. Slowly it is in the interest of government that small services should be done by self service mode instead of citizen coming to office which hampers other important work.

It is also true that government should not be part of business except in strategic sectors. The cost of compliance is still high as we have not stabilized the system, here not only government but all businesses have large degree of suspicion on each other.

The time required to get work done is still high on average basis (pan India basis)due to which lots of cost gets added, so to run the business.

The index for it was made and published yearly basis with the help of World Bank, we improved our ranking and still reducing time for starting and closing of business with all compliances

But the attitude of lower officials are still not in sync with he central government. They still have elite class mentality, which is causing harm to overall economy.

There is sincere efforts being made from the central government and it is trying to take government  to rural part of our country.

The need for local government is still mired in old way of working culture. Which needs to be changed for ease of living and the cost of justice to be reduced with time bound procedures. The local government officials have habit of delaying decisions which harms citizens as they are solely dependent on them.

Some work has been done but lots need to be done here just lip services is not solution which we are habitual. A sincere efforts are needed from all to improve the living standard and create an atmosphere of mutual confidence.

The path is simple with  consistent efforts are only required.
