Recently, the COP27 meet was held without much fanfare on climate change. As usual, the developed world which is adamant about its stand wants to punish the developing world for carbon emissions.

The least developed world is not in the count and they are paying the price of climate change without any of their faults, the present meeting has some headway for them, as the cost of carbon emissions reduction technology and cost of replacement is so huge for them as they are not able to make arrangement for same.

The developed world has also a problem with India and China regarding carbon reduction goals as they want both to pay for all climate change prices. The developed world had done maximum damage to the climate and also avoided discussion on it as they know their action with data on it. The 27th COP meeting was the same for us.

The fund is formed for financing technology for climate change. The exact nature of the fund and how it will be used is yet to be known.

The Least developed and developing countries will get these funds to tackle the climate change effect along with the use of energy mix so the damage will be contained. The developed countries are insisting on funds from China and India to contain climate change. Right now, the use of coal and crude are major energy generators used in our country, but also the adoption of electric vehicles and other sources of energy is getting adopted.

The PLI, which is used for self-reliance with new technologies and local manufacturing is going to address this issue in the future.

The adoption of solar energy in our country with clear policies and a road map for implementation. The strategy for climate change in our country is a work in progress as our need for energy and a huge market to feed. Our consumption is huge so the cost of new technologies should be cost-effective and getting  this is a very tedious process as major innovations are with developed country

Getting all stakeholders on the same page is difficult and fixing responsibility is a need of the hour. The cost which we are paying is not of our making but it is western countries who are the main culprits for this

The innovation should be local as it will be cost-effective and as per our needs But funding for this is very difficult to source and prove the utility of our technology to them as it will be useful for our own country not to theirs.
