 The budget is around one week away, the final countdown has already started with waiting for the budget session schedule and how it will conduct the proceedings.

This time we have already in mid of the third wave of corona and do not know when full lockdown will start.

In the same time the budget-making process is in full swing with all major consultation and policy decision is in place. 

We had faced the lockdown two times also, but the only difference here is we will face the present restrictions in place when the budget-making process is going on, so the impact of the event on the budget-making and future course of action will be seen on it.

After the first unlock down we saw major policy changes which shaped up the present-day growth of the economy with thurst on self-reliance on all aspects of economy and wake of life.

But by that time we had not been up to date on medical services which is not the case today.

The medical facility got a major uplift and now we have better infrastructure for any eventuality, that will arise if any.

But the situation is not that much worse which is painted now, the common man is conscious than ever, but there is no confidence on the part of the system and citizens on each other.

This budget will be first when the pandemic is still in full force, so we can expect the policy decision will have consideration on it and future course of action will be seen.

The impact of the Production Linked Incentive scheme has started showing its impact and similar scheme for services industries and other remaining  sector should be given impportance.

The domestic services sector which include tour and travel, hospitality etc have suffered most which needs priority attention. 

If we want to recover from the  present uncertainiity then we should give appropriate attention with future ready action plan.

Hope the budget will address the same for best of us in future.
